On April 1, 2007, Spedimex launched a new logistics center in Sosnowiec near Stryków. The new facility is a class A warehouse with a total area of over 37,000 sqm, allowing for increased capacity in handling palletized goods while maintaining a leading, niche service offering in the textile industry sector. Nearly 15 years of logistics and forwarding operations in Łódź have confirmed the validity of the actions taken in the central Poland region. Additionally, the decision was driven by the company’s growth in contract logistics, and consequently, the need to handle an intensified flow of cargo while maintaining the attractiveness of the offer.
The rich warehouse infrastructure, combined with an ideal location near the A2 motorway (Łódź – Poznań) and national road 14 (Warsaw – Łódź), guarantees better supply chain optimization and a direct connection with partners from all over Europe.
– The new location in a strategic region of Poland is another step in the company’s development, following the launch of 15,000 sqm of dedicated space for one of our largest clients at the turn of 2005/2006 – confirms the President of the Management Board, Marcin Bąk.
