The Wincanton headquarters in the UK has promoted another Polish national. Tomasz Oczkowski has taken the position of Logistics and Development Director for the Central and Eastern Europe region.
Tomasz Oczkowski has been working in the TSL industry for 11 years. Currently, in addition to Poland, he also manages the logistics and sales department in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. His new responsibilities include, among others, the strategic development of the company in the region and strengthening Wincanton’s position as a logistics operator in Central and Eastern Europe.
Initially, he worked as the Manager of the Łajski Branch, where he managed a distribution center with an area of 20,000 sqm, the customer service department, and the transport department for an FMCG industry project. For the last year, he held the position of Logistics and Development Director for Poland. He created a well-functioning and professional sales department and also contributed to the company’s development in the domestic market. This is the fourth Polish manager to take a position within Wincanton’s structures for the region covering Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, the company’s Board promoted Ryszard Warzocha to Managing Director, followed by Patryk Pająk to IT Director. In turn, Robert Chmielewski became the Regional Financial Controller.
