Kuehne+Nagel will occupy a building at ProLogis Park Bucharest A1, a new logistics park located along the Bucharest A1 motorway, Romania’s most important transit corridor. Kuehne+Nagel will use this state-of-the-art facility to serve customers on a local and regional scale. Construction is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2007.

Muler Onofrei, Market Officer for ProLogis in Romania, noted that the supply of modern space intended for distribution activities is limited in Romania. Due to strong GDP growth, rising consumption, and Romania’s recent accession to the European Union, an increase in demand is expected.
– ProLogis Park Bucharest A1 significantly increases the portfolio of available distribution park locations for the company in Central Europe – said Onofrei. – It will provide our customers with greater distribution capabilities as they seek to increase their reach and expand their presence in this increasingly important region.
