Logistics live

A group of 22 first and second-year undergraduate students from the Poznan School of Logistics participated in a dynamic forklift presentation organized by the “Logistyka” magazine as part of their “warehousing” and “logistics infrastructure” courses.

The classes were held at the Wandalex S.A. branch near Poznan. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to take a close look at the construction and movement of various forklift models. Wandalex specialists also discussed the principles of operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles. Of particular interest was the four-way COMBiLiFT forklift, whose use in transporting long loads allows for more efficient use of warehouse space. In addition to the dynamic demonstration, students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture delivered by Mr. Adam Wojciechowski, an engineer and employee of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing and the Poznan School of Logistics. Students received comprehensive and professional answers to all their questions.

– Field trips allow students to gain practical cognitive knowledge and confront theory with practice – said Adam Wojciechowski.
– Such trips, like many publications in the “Logistyka” magazine, combine science with practice, and this is the only way to truly effectively educate future logistics managers, who should know every, even the smallest, element of warehouse operation – added Iwo Nowak, editor-in-chief of the “Logistyka” magazine.
