Labor Market – logistics sector

As indicated by the cyclical “Labor Market” report from the jobpilot.pl website, job offers in the purchasing/logistics category continue to grow. Although the greatest momentum in the development of the logistics sector occurred between 1999 and 2003, it still maintains significant growth potential, in the range of 12-14% annually. At the same time, the requirements for potential employees have increased.
Today, to find employment in the logistics industry, a specialized education and expertise in a specific field—e.g., supply chain management—are essential. Individuals meeting these criteria will not only easily find their place in the labor market but can also count on attractive salaries. The courier, express, and parcel (CEP) industry also has great development potential. Its value in Poland is already estimated at 1.5 billion PLN, and considering the turnover of this sector in Western European countries, further growth is expected. In terms of the value and number of shipments, countries such as Germany, France, and Great Britain exceed Poland by as much as several times. Analysts agree that these differences will gradually decrease.
