Due to the company’s intensive growth and the signing of long-term contracts for comprehensive logistics services with clients who are leaders in their industry, the Katowice branch of Kuehne + Nagel has changed its headquarters.
Kuehne + Nagel moved to the Prologis Park in Chorzów at the beginning of April this year.
– The change of location was caused by the need to expand our warehouse facilities in order to provide our clients with services at the highest level. Since we did not have such an opportunity in Sosnowiec, a move was necessary. Additionally, we fulfilled the client’s request regarding the management of their warehouses by Kuehne + Nagel. Expanding our company’s operations in the Silesia region has been part of the Kuehne + Nagel development strategy from the very beginning. – said Stanisław Lukowicz, General Director of Kuehne + Nagel Sp. z o.o.
Currently, the company has two branches in Silesia. In Chorzów, where domestic and international distribution, rail freight, warehousing, and value-added services are provided, and a branch in Lubliniec, which houses a customs agency and provides warehousing services for selected clients.
The total area of the new Kuehne + Nagel Sp. z o.o. branch in Chorzów is approximately 10,000 sqm.
