The company serves the market for addressed postal items weighing over 50 g. In accordance with the established strategy, seven new branches have been launched since the beginning of 2007 – three in the Lesser Poland region and four in Silesia, and in May, four more were launched – two in Lesser Poland and two in Silesia. The list of cities served by InPost has expanded to include: Libiąż, Wadowice, Wojkowice, and Zebrzydowice. InPost customers can use the company’s services in 90 Polish cities through a network of 800 Customer Service Points, 4 of which are located within the newly established branches.
InPost is the first company in Poland to offer postal services nationwide through its own organizational units. The company directs its offer to both corporate and individual clients. According to development forecasts, 1,000 Customer Service Points will be established in 110 cities across the country by the end of 2007. All shipments handled by InPost are accepted at Customer Service Points or at the client’s premises and delivered directly to the indicated address by InPost postmen. In accordance with work standards, in the absence of the addressee, postmen leave a notification with information about the correspondence available for collection.
A proprietary solution introduced by the company is the use of InPost envelopes when handling correspondence. Purchasing an envelope is equivalent to paying for the correspondence. When using InPost services, there is no need to buy and stick on postage stamps. Envelopes can be purchased at Customer Service Points or, upon special order, delivered to the indicated location by InPost postmen wearing characteristic yellow vests.
– Our company’s proposal consists of completely new, comprehensive postal services that meet the high requirements of our customers. Great interest in our offer, both from business and individual clients, means that we are systematically expanding our network of Customer Service Points to include new cities. We strive to be as close to our customers as possible, offering them, above all, punctuality, high quality of service, and attractive prices – says Rafał Brzoska, President of the Management Board of the Company.
