Eurinpro is the first investor in the newly created industrial and investment zone in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The project in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Industrial Park near Warsaw is being carried out by Eurinpro for one of the ten largest logistics companies in Europe.
The first project in Poland implemented by Eurinpro is a warehouse with a target area of 30,000 sqm, being built for GEFCO – a member of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group. Due to the company’s dynamic growth, the current distribution center with an area of 11,000 sqm has become too small for its operations. After a thorough analysis of the client’s logistics needs, Eurinpro designated a 70,000 sqm site in the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Industrial Park near Warsaw. The strategic location of the project in the new investment zone, just 4 km from the company’s existing warehouse and only 25 km from the center of Warsaw, will ensure easy access to the emerging A2 Berlin-Moscow motorway in the future.
– Our client was very satisfied with the location we proposed. The fact that they will remain in the same city, just 4 km from their current headquarters, was one of the key factors that decided the creation of the new facility. It is also very important for them that they can lease warehouse space from a long-term project investor like Eurinpro – said Rafał Bochenek, regional representative of Eurinpro in Poland.
The investment, which is scheduled to be commissioned in April 2006, will be carried out in two stages, each of 15,000 sqm. Tailored to the needs of the logistics company, the new warehouse will be equipped with 30 loading docks and doors allowing for convenient loading and unloading. The clear height of the warehouse will be 10 m, and the perfectly flat floor with a tolerance of 3 mm per 2 sqm will provide the structure with a load-bearing capacity of 50 kN/sqm.
The “built-to-suit” facility constructed by Eurinpro will offer office space, specially designed rooms for storing hazardous substances, and a spacious outdoor parking lot in addition to the warehouse space. The foundations for the company’s new logistics base are already being laid, and it will be available for use from April 2006.
