Fozzy Group, which owns the largest and fastest-growing retail chain group in Ukraine, has signed an agreement with Comarch for the implementation of the ECOD system for electronic document exchange. As part of the contract worth PLN 3 million, Comarch will provide systems in a full outsourcing model. In Central and Eastern Europe, Comarch ECOD is used by over 6,000 companies.
– From a business perspective, this is a breakthrough contract on the Ukrainian retail market, because currently, electronic document exchange projects are not yet operational. Thanks to this agreement, Comarch has a chance to gain a significant share in the market that is just being created. – says Paweł Przewięźlikowski, Vice President of Comarch SA.
The Comarch ECOD platform handles the transmission of electronic invoices between the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Retail chains such as Ahold, Tesco, Makro Cash&Carry, Real, Carrefour, Auchan, Biedronka, Eurocash, and many others receive and send various types of documents such as orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations to and from their suppliers via Comarch ECOD. ECOD is also becoming increasingly popular in Russia, where it is used by the largest retail chains.
Fozzy Group is the largest and fastest-growing capital group in Ukraine, which includes, among others, the Silpo retail chain. The company employs over 9,000 people and has a total of over 100 retail outlets, which include hypermarkets, food discounters, wholesalers, and a catering chain.
