CTL Chemkol Sp. z o. o. from Kędzierzyn-Koźle, part of the CTL Logistics group, has successfully passed the SQAS Tank Cleaning (Safety and Quality Assessment System Tank Cleaning) audit.
An auditor accredited by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), which manages the SQAS program, determined that CTL Chemkol Sp. z o. o. met the standards by 96 percent. This result is all the more satisfying given that the average score for European companies is over 25 percent lower.
To meet the SQAS Tank Cleaning standards—established by CEFIC and the European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations (EFTCO), which regulates European standards for transport cleaning services—the team at CTL Chemkol Sp. z o. o. performed difficult and tedious work over several months to improve safety, environmental protection, and quality conditions. As a result, the company has distanced its competitors in the domestic market and joined the European elite. SQAS is a prestigious safety, quality, and environmental impact assessment system that significant global transport companies and logistics operators undergo. The system provides the assessed entity, its clients, and contractors with useful information about the strengths and weaknesses observed during the audit, which allows parties to define individual requirements for the logistics chain. The assessment also helps build mutually beneficial partnerships.
