Another Reglo project workshop on “Warehouse space optimization”

Entrepreneur from Greater Poland – improve your company’s logistics. Take advantage of consultations. Participate in the workshops. On February 22nd, another free workshop on “Warehouse space optimization” will be held as part of the Reglo project. We invite you.

The constant development of logistics supply chains and logistics networks observed in Poland is causing changes in the nature of warehouse operations and setting new requirements for them. For over a dozen years, the structure of stored inventory has been undergoing fundamental transformations, with the importance of distribution warehouses increasing while the role of raw material warehouses is declining.

Warehouse processes are constantly accelerating.
Automatic identification using barcodes in the GS1 System standard is becoming increasingly common. Effective process management is not possible without support from a warehouse management information system. Time pressure places ever-higher demands on order picking while simultaneously reducing errors. Effective use of available warehouse space allows for cost reduction and, in many cases, avoids costly expansion.

The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, as one of the leading consulting firms in the logistics market and the national GS1 Poland organization, invites you to participate in the workshops organized as part of the RegLo project. The workshops, which will take place on February 22, 2007, in Poznań, will be devoted to “Warehouse space optimization”.

The Reglo project is implemented with funds from the European Union – the European Social Fund and from national public funds – the state budget under the Integrated Regional Development Operational Program and concerns enterprises from Greater Poland. Workshop participants do not incur any fees. Details regarding the program can be found on the project website RegLo.
