One such solution is the logistics platform TRANSPOREON, which connects industrial and commercial companies with logistics service partners. This tool for managing logistics processes in transport operates according to simple and understandable rules.

Thanks to the Add-on for SAP, SAP users can directly use all functions of the TRANSPOREON platform. Essentially, SAP ERP does not offer the ability to issue tenders for transport orders or book time slots. Previously, dispatchers often worked with two or even three applications simultaneously. Now, the Add-on for SAP can be implemented quickly and easily. It is easy to program additional functions depending on customer needs. Transport companies also do not need a separate system.
Already about 20,000 carriers worldwide work via the TRANSPOREON platform, among other things, receiving transport orders and booking time slots. Using the platform is not just a matter of seeking savings – implementing the system is slowly proving to be a necessity. In transport management in Western Europe, hardly anyone uses phones or sends emails – now, to become an international partner, one must also work on platforms.
