eAwizo is a solution created based on an in-depth analysis of customer needs, requirements, and expectations in terms of increasing delivery effectiveness. This functional and simple service was prepared primarily for recipients of domestic shipments who expect mobile and efficient solutions without problems with receiving parcels. It is also an excellent solution for e-commerce customers who require an effective domestic shipment delivery process, including faster return of cash-on-delivery payments and a reduction in returned shipments.
Now, thanks to eAwizo, the process of sending and delivering a shipment is very simple: on the day it is sent by the sender, the recipient receives an email notification with the shipment number and any amount to be collected. On the day of delivery, if the courier does not find anyone at the indicated address, the recipient receives an SMS with information about the delivery attempt and contacts the DHL Contact Center directly to arrange another date. During this time, the sender receives information that the shipment has not been collected. Thanks to this service, both the sender and the recipient know the status of the shipment. Additionally, the addressee receives information, among other things, about procedures in case it is not possible to collect the shipment within the designated time.
– Since we introduced the service to the market, interest in it has been systematically growing. eAwizo is a well-thought-out tool that streamlines the shipment delivery process, is procedurally uncomplicated, and very convenient to use. For the client, it means a guarantee that the shipment will be effectively delivered and that the cash-on-delivery return will be received in the shortest possible time. For the recipient, it means a hassle-free and faster delivery date. In turn, for the courier, it involves reducing the number of returned shipments – said Edwin Osiecki, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at DHL Express (Poland).
The tools used in eAwizo, which allow for managing this service (e.g., e-mail pre-notification to the sender and recipient including the estimated delivery time window, information on the current shipment status), ensure faster implementation of the service by DHL, effective delivery even on the first day, faster return of cash-on-delivery payments, as well as a reduction in the number of interventions to senders.
