Wings of Success is an award presented for the past six years to the most important business partners: air carriers, tour operators, and retail and service space tenants. For the first time, the winner of the award in the “All cargo” shipment growth category was DHL Express (Poland) – the only courier industry company among this year’s winners. DHL Express, as a long-standing scheduled cargo operator, transported 1,077 tons more cargo to/from Chopin Airport last year than in 2010.
– The history of DHL Express began in the United States in 1969. The company’s founders discovered a new branch of services consisting of express air freight transport. Today, DHL Express exists in over 220 countries around the world and is a company specializing in express transport services for clients conducting business on an international scale.
