In April 2011, the manufacturer signed an agreement with MPK Krakow for the purchase of modern, city Urbino buses. The delivery of the vehicles to Krakow is spread out until June 2014. The 13 buses handed over are articulated Urbino 18 models. All vehicles have been equipped with, among other things: air conditioning for the driver’s cabin and passenger area, monitoring, and ticket machines. The contract concerns an order for 73 Solaris Urbino 12 buses and 27 articulated Solaris Urbino 18 buses. The number of buses from Bolechowo near Poznań in the fleet of the Krakow municipal carrier, including those from the latest delivery, has increased to 154 vehicles. The friendly dachshund, which is the symbol of the brand’s buses, wears a traditional Krakow cap in Krakow.
