At this third meeting, there will be an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and development directions of transport in Europe, as well as practical solutions developed in European projects. The program includes, among other things, a session dedicated to intermodal transport. Leading representatives of intermodal operators in Poland have been invited to the meeting to present the benefits of this type of service. The best examples of the use of intermodal transport by Polish enterprises will also be shown.
In the further part of the program, there will be a lecture on the development possibilities of intermodal transport and a detailed analysis related to costs and transport times on selected routes, as a result of the TransBaltic project work, as well as an example of the use of intermodal transport by an international manufacturer.
Furthermore, innovative activities and concepts related to the organization of road transport will be presented. The results of the implementation of the T-Scale tool, which enables the cooperation of independent business entities in the organization of transport processes, will also be presented. This implementation allows for the optimization of transport costs, improves communication and planning, and enables the sustainable use of enterprise resources.
The meeting, organized jointly by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing and the Polish Chamber of Forwarding and Logistics, will also be an opportunity to exchange experiences, expand knowledge, and engage in creative discussion.
