DHL Global Forwarding is constantly developing its offer with new transport services designed to effectively support Polish entrepreneurs importing goods from, among others, Asia. Meeting the expectations of importers who send shipments smaller than a full container from the southern China region, DHL has launched a new Direct Box service from the Canton and Shenzhen region. The Direct Box service from Shenzhen to Poland guarantees customers a number of benefits.
– Goods that were sent via the Direct Box service from Hong Kong until the end of June this year will now be delivered to Łódź via a dedicated service also from Shenzhen. Thanks to this, our customers will be able to reduce shipping costs. The transport time will also be shortened. Furthermore, consolidating freight in one port will allow for the elimination of the risk of damage associated with transshipment, and a fixed sailing schedule will increase freight reliability – explains Michał Kołodziejski, Ocean Freight Director, DHL Global Forwarding.
The Direct Box service offered by DHL Global Forwarding consists of organizing regular shipments from one port to a dedicated warehouse in Poland. The container, consolidated at a Container Freight Station (CFS), goes directly to the Direct Box – CFS warehouse in Łódź. From there, the goods are distributed to customers throughout Poland. Thanks to this solution, shipments are under the constant control of a global team of DHL specialists.
