Secure Webbooking with Comp-Win

Choosing an IT solution from the Poznań-based company Comp-Win has increased the competitiveness of Morska Agencja Gdynia by streamlining its logistics process and communication with clients.

Secure Webbooking with Comp-Win

Comp-Win, a provider of IT systems for the logistics industry, has completed the first phase of implementing the SOZ Webbooking system at Morska Agencja Gdynia. The system is responsible for the active and secure exchange of information with the company’s clients. When they place an order, a full view of stock levels appears on the screen. Clients can enter instructions, both for receipts and releases, directly into the warehouse management system.

– Thanks to the easy-to-use solution from Comp-Win, Morska Agencja Gdynia has gained full optimization of its logistics process – says Michał Laskowski, implementation manager. – We have expanded our range of services and improved the effectiveness of their execution, but above all, it should be emphasized that we have reduced our operating costs. Informing clients about shipment status via phone and email has become unnecessary. This, in turn, has led to a reduction in human errors, thanks to which we have almost completely eliminated complaints.

SOZ Webbooking by Comp-Win is dedicated to transport companies that wish to automate cooperation with their clients by providing them with mechanisms for self-placing orders for general cargo, partial loads, and full truckloads, as well as sea, air, or warehouse orders. The system is multilingual. In addition to the webbooking module, Morska Agencja Gdynia uses Comp-Win solutions for road, sea, and rail transport, as well as warehouse management.

– Our TMS system is a modular solution – says Zbigniew Kępiński, Vice President of the Board at Comp-Win. – Therefore, when a client purchases one module for a specific functionality, they can freely order and implement additional modules at any time. For example: at the time of purchase, a company chooses the system appropriate for its operations, opting for a solution only for full truckload and partial load transport. However, when it grows into other operations and begins to expand its range of services, it can, for instance, supplement the system with Webbooking or eLogistics modules, allowing for broader contact with clients or partners, or supplement it with functionalities dedicated to other forwarding orders. We have a similar situation when a company transitions from the scope of forwarding transport to the scope of its own transport and begins to settle its own drivers and vehicles. A dedicated module for data exchange with the external environment guarantees a very fast opening to the ever-growing needs of clients in terms of information exchange, without additional cost consequences.
