Colliers International, a leading advisor in the commercial real estate market, has presented the results of its latest report on the situation in the warehouse space market in Poland.
Compared to the first half of the year, the third quarter of 2010 brought a slight increase in warehouse space delivered to the market. Nearly 90,000 sq m of modern warehouse space was completed. In the third quarter, the volume of lease transactions amounted to just over 360,000 sq m, which is 55% more than in the corresponding period of 2009. Since the beginning of the year, the demand for warehouse space has stabilized at a level exceeding 300,000 sq m per quarter. Rents are slowly stabilizing. In some markets, rates have remained at the same level for three consecutive quarters.
