Transkam, like the Raben Group, is a family-owned company founded in 1990. It currently employs 300 people. Warehouses in the Czech Republic are located in: Horovice, Olomouc, and Hostivice. The Slovak branch is located in Nové Mesto nad Váhom.
– Transkam is currently one of the largest domestic companies providing 3PL services in the FMCG sector, specializing in dry food handling in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are pleased to join the Raben Group. Thanks to this, we can offer our customers a wider network, know-how, and, most importantly, comprehensive logistics services not only in two, but in ten countries, while remaining faithful to such fundamental principles as flexibility and high quality of service – says Jaroslav Nezbeda, founder of the Transkam enterprise.
– Central and Eastern Europe is the main area of our operations – says Ewald Raben, CEO of the Raben Group. – We have many years of experience in the Czech and Slovak markets. Over two years ago, we made the decision to develop our own organization in these countries. The acquisition of Transkam will expand our offer regarding food product logistics in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We also intend to strengthen our network of branches in these countries. The vision of the Raben Group is to achieve a leading position wherever we are. We believe that integrating the new enterprise into the Group’s structures will contribute to achieving this goal.
Strengthening the Raben Group’s position in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is also a response to market needs. Recently, closer cooperation has been observed between the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland, which is reflected, among other things, in the growth of trade in this region.
