We know perfectly well what impact this has on our cooperation with our customers – explains Robert Michalik, Development Project Manager at Schenker Sp. z o.o. – That is why we are constantly developing tools that can improve communication; an example is the e-connect Premium system, which, in line with our customers’ needs, has been enriched with additional data and provides information about the delivery location and the recipient’s name.
e-connect Premium is an IT system for online communication with customers. The tool is dedicated to companies operating domestically and enables secure and fast exchange of reporting data and management of the logistics process.
– e-connect Premium integrates the business processes of the customer and the logistics operator, primarily increasing their efficiency and improving the exchange of information – adds Robert Michalik.
The communication platform that is e-connect enables, among other things, current information on orders, invoices, and shipments, as well as online shipment tracking. The tool also allows for creating, modifying, and canceling orders. Furthermore, it simplifies the process of preparing transport documentation. Importantly, both e-connect and e-connect Premium are equipped with a special security system. To protect electronic communication, state-of-the-art mechanisms have been used, such as: encryption of transmitted information, certificates, authorization at branches, a password change system, and procedures for granting access and system administration.
