The new offices are located in Warsaw and Gdynia in Poland, and in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
– Our customers emphasize that they prefer to work with companies that have offices in the region where they conduct business – said Fred Schardt, President and CEO of FedEx Trade Networks. – That is why we intend to continue expanding our infrastructure and strengthening our presence in key markets.
The opening of new offices in Poland and the United Arab Emirates is another step in the strategy of FedEx, a global freight forwarding company based in Memphis. The potential of the Polish economy, combined with Poland’s central location in Europe and on the Baltic Sea, allows for important trade transactions to be conducted through the offices in Warsaw and Gdynia. Meanwhile, Dubai – one of the most dynamic transshipment hubs in the world – thanks to its strategic location halfway between the Asia-Pacific and European markets, provides FedEx Trade Networks customers with better connectivity to these regions. Since the start of its global expansion plan in 2008, FedEx Trade Networks has opened a total of 25 new freight forwarding offices worldwide.
– We strive to provide our growing number of customers around the world with the most flexible and reliable freight forwarding services possible – said Schardt. – Offering our customers access to regional support services in their native language and local time zone is another example of our ongoing efforts in this regard.
The offices in Poland and the United Arab Emirates join the global FedEx Trade Networks freight forwarding network. Other offices are located in, among others: Belgium, the United Kingdom (London and Manchester), the Netherlands, France, India (Mumbai and Chennai), Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Tianjin, Xiamen, Dalian, and Ningbo). The company also has a representative office in Vietnam.
