The Euroterminal International Logistics Center in Sławków has transport connections with Western Europe and the intercontinental Trans-Siberian Railway. Furthermore, CZH manages numerous large-area warehouses.
– For the further development of our company, it was necessary to implement an IT system to manage the core elements responsible for the Euroterminal’s operations. We decided that the contractor for this project would be BCS Polska due to their extensive experience and the best-prepared offer – stated Aneta Dubiel, IT Department Manager at CZH.
BCS Polska will be responsible for the comprehensive implementation of the warehouse system, expanded with a system for managing the container yard and container gantry crane operations. The project also includes the installation of a radio network and IT system maintenance. To this end, a mesh network was implemented, based on Motorola RFS6000 wireless LAN switches and AP7131 radio access points.
– This is a pilot implementation managing full logistics at container yards. The application being deployed will be integrated with existing systems in our client’s software environment – said Filip Michera, TSL Sector Sales Manager at BCS Polska.
