InPost, an independent nationwide postal operator belonging to the Integer.pl capital group, has signed a long-term agreement with one of the largest retail corporations in the world. The contract covers the provision of postal services by the operator regarding the acceptance and delivery of domestic shipments. The cooperation has been concluded for an indefinite period, and the estimated value of the order over a 5-year period will amount to PLN 60 million.
Despite the prevailing economic downturn, InPost is regularly increasing the number of its strategic partners. In July 2009, thanks to successful cooperation with a nationwide cable network operator, it extended its existing agreement indefinitely. The value of the transaction over a 5-year period will amount to approximately PLN 9 million.
– A time of economic downturn is the best test for companies and their managers. The weakening of the economy means that almost every entity operating on the market is looking for savings. We understand this mechanism and strive to offer our potential partners the best terms of cooperation. Providing services to an international client proves the effectiveness of the negotiation activities conducted by InPost and confirms the constantly growing interest in our offer – says Rafał Brzoska, CEO of the company.
InPost is concluding contracts with key clients. In June 2009, it signed an agreement with the Łódź Power Plant (Łódzki Zakład Energetyczny) covering the provision of a full package of postal services. The value of the contract signed for one year is PLN 1.2 million. InPost’s core competencies will include comprehensive service for the company in terms of accepting, moving, and delivering postal items weighing over 50g.
The activity of InPost is reflected not only in cooperation with strategic clients but also in the dynamic increase in the number of Customer Service Points. Thanks to a consistently implemented development policy, the company is present in almost 200 towns, and by the end of 2009, the InPost offer will be available to individual customers in 230 cities.
