New DHL Global Forwarding service

To meet the needs of its European customers, DHL Global Forwarding, a global leader in the logistics market, has introduced a new cargo transport service. AirFreight PLUS Europe is a multimodal solution that allows goods to be transported door-to-door across Europe quickly, without weight or dimension restrictions, and with a transparent price list.

AirFreight PLUS Europe is a flexible solution prepared by DHL Global Forwarding for companies that strive to optimize time, method, and, above all, transport costs. Under AirFreight PLUS Europe, goods can be transported without the weight and dimension restrictions typical of services provided by courier companies. Depending on the destination, DHL Global Forwarding accepts pallets for air transport up to 2 meters in height and weighing several hundred kilograms, delivering them in a “door-to-door” model the day after the shipment is collected.

AirFreight PLUS Europe primarily offers:

  • No weight or dimension restrictions for shipments.
  • Defined time frames for export and import services.
  • Delivery speed – combined transport within its own network of air and road connections.
  • Ready-made price list without hidden costs.

– DHL Global Forwarding introduced the AirFreight PLUS Europe service in response to the needs of companies operating in Europe that were looking for fast (including overnight) transport of heavy shipments, dangerous goods, and special shipments delivered at controlled temperatures across the entire continent. The AirFreight PLUS Europe solution, which also includes economic packages with defined delivery times according to customer needs, is therefore a service that combines the speed and efficiency characteristic of courier companies with the flexibility of specialized freight forwarding companies. – said Piotr Iwaniuk, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding.

AirFreight PLUS Europe offers defined transport time frames for both exports and imports. Under the Premium package, goods are delivered the next day, in the Classic package within two days, while the most affordable Economy service guarantees delivery to the final recipient within 3-5 days. Dangerous goods are delivered within a maximum of two days, and special shipments in controlled temperatures – the next day.

As part of the AirFreight PLUS Europe service, DHL Global Forwarding offers four transport models (“door-to-door”, “door-to-airport”, “airport-to-door”, and “airport-to-airport”) in three packages defined by scope and price: Premium, Classic, and Economy. Additionally, the company offers two packages covering the transport of dangerous goods (Dangerous Goods) and special shipments delivered at controlled temperatures (Life Science).
