Guided by standards of quality and modernity, DGS SA has entered into cooperation with the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, commissioning the delivery and implementation of an IT system supporting warehouse process management based on international identification standards.
The MaGS1 WMS-class system is a proprietary solution of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing and was accepted by DGS SA as the most suitable for the company due to the system’s strong emphasis on relationships with global GS1 standards. GS1 standards guarantee the uniqueness of the identifiers used on a global scale. For this reason, using the MaGS1 system allows the company to operate in global markets. Adaptation work is currently underway, and the completion of the implementation is planned for the end of the first quarter of 2009.
