– For GEFCO, winning this, arguably the most important award in the logistics market in Poland, is a huge honor, but also a confirmation that continuous investment in the quality of our services brings measurable results. It is also a very strong impulse for all of us to keep moving forward, not to rest on our laurels, and to work hard for customer satisfaction. Their satisfaction is one of our absolute priorities. – says Bogdan Młynarczyk, General Manager of GEFCO Polska. – The year 2008 was not easy for the logistics industry in Poland. However, thanks to a firm quality policy, sensible investments, and a very flexible approach to our clients, GEFCO managed to achieve satisfactory results. Winning the title of Logistics Operator of the Year is a wonderful crowning achievement of this success.
– TNT’s competitive advantage is manifested in the reliability of deliveries and the quality of service – assesses Piotr Szreter from Data Group Consulting. – The company’s offer is among the most strongly profiled in the courier services market, thanks to which it has no equal in the mentioned areas in terms of market penetration. TNT is a leader in courier services for large and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, as it is able to offer this group specialized service packages that are attractive in terms of quality.
The Logistics Operator of the Year program has been organized since 2002 by the research institution Data Group Consulting and the industry bimonthly “Eurologistics”. The goal of the program is to identify best practices in logistics, define the reasons for success in competitive struggles, and distinguish the best logistics service operators. The winner is selected through opinion research of a representative group of clients of transport, logistics, and forwarding companies. 43 participants – leading representatives of the industry in Poland – signed up for this year’s seventh edition of the program. The competition organizers conducted nearly 1,500 interviews with clients of logistics companies, striving to create the most objective picture of the quality of services provided by the main players in the transport market in Poland. The main conclusion drawn by the authors of the program based on the research was that, despite the global financial crisis, the logistics sector continues to develop dynamically. The demand for such services is still growing, and in the case of the best transport companies, customer trust remains at an unchanged level.
