Nature has endowed humans with unique traits that modern technology is increasingly using as identity identifiers. Biometric identification is currently one of the fastest-growing automatic identification technologies in access control applications.
Biometric identification technology constitutes a broad category of systems ensuring precise confirmation of an individual’s identity through the use of physiological traits and behavioral patterns.
