– We mainly expect an increase in the efficiency of employees whose work is closely related to the flow of goods through the warehouse, as well as the elimination of errors inevitable during manual work – notes Piotr Orłowski, Commercial Director at ES-SYSTEM.
The project covers the full IT and logistics infrastructure and is to be carried out in three stages. First, Effect Warehouse will be implemented in three warehouses in different locations, and the subsequent stages will include two more locations.
– At ES-SYSTEM, one WMS server will support logistics processes related to production and distribution in five different, distributed locations. This type of solution creates new opportunities for standardizing processes for the entire ES-SYSTEM group – says Jarosław Bukowski, Sales & Marketing Director at Consafe Logistics.
Consafe Logistics will also equip warehouse employees with rugged Motorola MC9090 mobile terminals and Zebra Technologies barcode printers.
