Logistics is a field of knowledge that, by utilizing modern methods of organization and management supported by IT systems, enables the shaping of optimal supply chains from the moment of raw material acquisition, through their processing and distribution at various stages of trade, to the final buyer. In short, it is a field that shapes the optimal logistics chain. High market competition requires high operational efficiency and professionalism in customer service, regardless of which link in the chain it is. Achieving a high level of customer service is not possible without the efficient flow of information and documents. Active modern companies are customer-oriented, as the customer is the most important to them. Based on the solutions used, it has been found that direct contact with the customer yields the best results in meeting their needs. An example of this is the growing popularity of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. An approach focused on direct contact means that the service systems used contain datasets about customers. Among this data, personal information is generally also collected, and this is subject to specific legal regulations.
