Macrologic implements controlling at LCS Logistics

Macrologic has signed an agreement with LCS Logistics SA for the implementation of a controlling system. The installation of analytical software completes the digitalization process of the logistics operator in terms of management support software.

LCS Logistics SA is a logistics operator operating in Central and Eastern Europe. The company focuses on comprehensive services and flexibility in sea and road transport. It offers services across the entire supply chain. LCS also provides contract logistics services in the areas of: goods storage, packaging, distribution, and managing tax warehouses for clients. LCS Logistics decided to invest in controlling, encouraged by the tangible business benefits achieved after the implementation of ERP software, such as increased work efficiency, a higher number of serviced clients, and reduced costs of financing contractors. The company opted for the Xpertis Controlling solution. The system is intended to help the company ensure high contract profitability. It will enable planning and analyzing obtained results in multi-level cost structures: entity-based, object-based, and type-based. Thanks to tools supporting strategic and tactical planning, LCS will be able to shape a rational pricing policy based on break-even point analysis.

– The software is essential for planning the development of domestic operations and foreign branches, both existing ones and those to be opened in the near future in Western Europe. This stems from the development of cooperation with current and future business partners – says Krzysztof Adamek, President of the Management Board of LCS Logistics SA.

The controlling module will enable constant monitoring of cost centers (products, goods, contracts, projects) in terms of their profitability for the enterprise, as well as allow for the assessment of the efficiency of individual responsibility centers (departments, divisions) and the elimination of “gray areas” of unproductive costs.
