The world is changing so fast that only the image of logistics in the first decade of the century is realistically emerging. Everything else is just a forecast or a vision.
Sources of logistics development
What is logistics like at the threshold of the first decade of the century? The world is accelerating, the pace of change in the economy is increasing, logistics is changing, and its importance and influence on many areas of life are growing. The sources of changes in logistics are diverse. We perceive them in politics, which in the last decades of the 20th century changed the face of many regions of the world, we find them in the development of technical and economic sciences, in the increase in purchasing power and wealth of societies,
as well as in the understanding of the need for rational use of raw materials, economical management of resources, and curbing the degradation of the natural environment.
