We have conducted a study on the functionality of websites of 13 companies involved in the production of warehouse racking. In line with what we presented in previous issues of “Logistyka”, this year we are repeating last year’s study, conducted in the same industries. The first study of the functionality of websites of companies involved in the production of warehouse racking was carried out last year in issue 6/2006 of “Logistyka”. The repetition of the study aims to compare the results with last year’s and to assess whether companies have introduced changes to their websites in order to reduce the number of errors that were previously identified.
The study was traditionally divided into 4 categories. The first determines the ability to establish contact with the company, the second is an assessment of selected aspects of the website’s functionality, the third category determines the level of difficulties encountered on the site, and the fourth shows the number of errors found on the website’s homepage according to the W3C validator (World Wide Web Consortium – www.w3.org).
