On July 19, the Polish-language version of the digital map Map&Guide in the “base” version (Map&Guide base) was launched, which is available online at base.mapandguide.com. This map is constantly updated and contains data from all over Europe, including details such as one-way streets. These and other features allow for full control of transport costs.
If digital maps – which have the ability to plan routes along with travel prices based on tolls – are not available online, they force the carrier to take care of current tariffs – if they are available for the system at all. It may happen that shortly after purchasing a map with route planning, motorway tolls change. Map&Guide base is updated on an ongoing basis. As soon as the company operating the toll sections announces changes in toll rates, these changes are directly incorporated into the Map&Guide base tariff data. So there is no problem with updating.

Map&Guide base has such precise capabilities for PocketPC. These include, for example, gas stations, train stations, airports and ferry terminals, parking lots, service areas and hotels, exhibition grounds and industrial areas, landmarks, lakes, and leisure facilities, etc. Furthermore, Map&Guide base calculates distances taking into account one-way streets throughout Europe.
Most of the included additional information is available in the basic Map&Guide base package. In the Premium package, however, you can additionally choose which Points of Interest you want to be displayed and which not.
