K+N has opened a new sea freight center in Gothenburg

Logistics company Kuehne + Nagel has strengthened its position in Sweden by opening a new sea freight terminal at the ProLogis logistics park in Gothenburg.
The facility, covering 4,800 sqm of warehouse space and 200 sqm of office space, paves the way for the company to handle LCL (Less-than-Container Load) sea freight in the Nordic region and creates significant reach opportunities for direct LCL service to and from this strategic location. The center is located 2 kilometers from the Port of Gothenburg, as well as close to Landvetter International Airport.

Operations carried out on-site include unloading, sorting, repacking and packaging, palletizing, warehousing, delivery, and other services tailored directly to the customer. The site boasts six loading docks, a storage height of 11.7 m, and the latest security systems.

Peter Luber, member of the management board for the North-West Europe Region, said:
– We are committed to the development of our LCL products in the Nordic region. Our goal is to achieve a leading position in LCL service by offering customers the best solutions at the highest level.
