On September 6, 2007, the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Logit Warehouse Park took place.
The ceremony was attended by: Ryszard Nawrocki, Mayor of the Stare Miasto Municipality, where the Greater Poland Logistics Centre is located; Stanisław Bielik, Starosta of the Konin County; Kazimierz Pałasz, Mayor of the City of Konin; and Ireneusz Fechner, a representative of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, which supports and promotes the concept of the Greater Poland Logistics Centre in Poland and abroad.
The General Contractor, Depenbrock Polska, was represented by Krzysztof Brzeźniak – President, Krzysztof Kapała – Project Manager, and Paweł Markowski – Construction Manager.

The Logit Warehouse Park was designed on an area of 110,000 sqm and involves the construction of high-bay warehouses with a total area of 60,000 sqm. The currently implemented facility with an area of 13,300 sqm will be the first service warehouse in the Greater Poland Logistics Centre and is offered for lease to logistics and transport companies. At the current stage of construction, 7,000 sqm have already been leased. The exclusive leasing agent for the property is the Jartom company from Warsaw.
The warehouse under construction will be commissioned in November 2007. The construction of the second warehouse facility in the Logit Park will be carried out in the second quarter of 2008.
The investor implementing the Warehouse Park project is the Logit company, which also offers warehousing services and a range of accompanying services for tenants, such as recruitment and personnel selection, HR and payroll services, and security.
The Logit Warehouse Park is a new place on the logistics map of Poland, attractive due to its central location at the most frequented II European Transport Corridor along the A-2 motorway at the intersection with national road No. 25.

The Greater Poland Logistics Centre also has favorable conditions for the development of intermodal transport due to its easy connection to the E 95 railway line (Berlin – Moscow).
