CTL Car Transport Logistics GmbH, a subsidiary of the CTL Logistics Group specializing in logistics for the automotive industry, has won an international contract for transport services for the Skoda automotive group. The value of the contract is approximately 1.2 million euros per year. By the end of the year, the German company of the CTL Group will transport 15,000 Skoda cars from factories in Mlada Boleslav and Vrchlabi to the company’s warehouse in Budaoers, Hungary. The contract may be extended for 2008.

CTL Car Transport Logistics was established in February of this year in Mainz, Germany. The company conducts comprehensive transport of materials and cars based on its own equipment and in cooperation with partners. The company’s activities are focused on the European market. The group sees particular opportunities in building logistics chains using rail transport, connecting Western and Eastern Europe.
