The University of Logistics has once again received a prestigious certificate confirming the high quality of the “Occupational Health and Safety Manager” postgraduate studies.
Postgraduate studies in the field of OHS are very popular today. However, students are demanding and set the bar high. They want a guarantee of receiving the knowledge they will need to perform a profession related to OHS. Such a guarantee is provided by universities that have obtained a certificate of recognition of educational unit competencies, issued by the Central Institute for Labour Protection.

Every unit that wants to receive such a certificate must meet several conditions. At least 70% of its lecturers must hold a certificate as a lecturer in occupational health and safety issues. The unit must also comply with the requirements that form the basis for granting such a certificate. Complaints submitted to the Personnel Competence Certification Center are also unacceptable and disqualify the unit. After meeting these requirements and successfully passing an audit, the granted certificate is valid for 3 years. Its validity may be extended at the request of the unit.
The University of Logistics has had the validity of its granted certificate extended for another 3 years.
– The certificate is very important to us because it confirms the high quality of postgraduate studies, which are currently experiencing a boom – admits Wojciech Zalewski, WSL press spokesperson.
