The operator of the terminal’s railway siding in Gdansk will be PCC Rail, which, in addition to its own trains, will provide full service for other railway carriers on behalf of DCT.
In order to maximize the benefits of the terminal’s location and accelerate cargo transport over longer distances, DCT Gdansk plans to provide exceptionally efficient rail handling of containers. Starting May 30, regular rail connections will take place between DCT and the Euroterminal in Slawkow three times a week. Additional connections will be added as the requirements of DCT Gdansk customers grow.
Currently, the railway siding at DCT Gdansk can handle one train with a length of 600 m. However, the terminal’s design ensures the simultaneous efficient handling of two or three trains depending on demand.

One of the undisputed advantages of the DCT Gdansk terminal is its location on the outskirts of Gdansk. Thanks to this, the terminal has not only an excellent connection to the railway infrastructure throughout Poland but also easy access to main roads and the future A1 motorway.
