Pregis Sp. z o.o., a global manufacturer of protective packaging, has become one of the first tenants of production space at Tulipan Park Gliwice. The company has leased 16,000 sqm in the newly developed project. Colliers International represented Pregis in the lease transaction.
Tulipan Park Gliwice is a modern logistics center owned by the British company Slough Estates International. The facility is perfectly located – near the economic zone, close to the A4 motorway, which provides excellent communication with all Polish markets and access to the European transport network. The construction of the A1 motorway is also planned in the immediate vicinity. An additional advantage is the proximity to the borders with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The target size of Tulipan Park Gliwice is 100,000 sqm. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2008.
In the transaction, the company was represented by Maciej Chmielewski, Director in the Industrial and Logistics Department at Colliers International Poland, who joined the Colliers team in 2004. Maciej Chmielewski specializes in tenant representation. To date, he has worked with clients such as ME-FA, Sonoco, Johnson Controls, and Michelin.
