Successive implementation of comprehensive solutions
Integrated design encompasses areas of activity such as planning, control, and consistent supervision of the implementation of comprehensive programs. The task set for designers is to achieve strategic goals for the enterprise or organization.

Programs
A program is a collection of defined projects whose goal is to bring the enterprise’s vision to life. In logistics, we speak of programs if at least two of the following issues are considered:

  • management of new processes in the enterprise,
  • management of new installations,
  • system integration,
  • logistics in the enterprise – people and their actions.
The increasing complexity of logistics chain programs lies in the interdependence between processes, installations, systems, and people. Programs fail if:

  • at the beginning, the identification and qualification of critical projects are neglected,
  • there is insufficient control of interfaces and interdependencies between individual projects,
  • the permanent use of experience from partial projects and the application of these experiences in appropriate relations to achieve the total effect are neglected.

Program Management
Program Management (PM) is a tool that, through the implementation of a comprehensive program with its partial projects, enables the realization of the overarching goals of the client, enterprise, or organization:

  • PM is consistently oriented towards a measurable result;
  • PM was created to avoid erroneous solutions, rather than having to react to them;
  • PM possesses tools that enable appropriate control;
  • PM manages and controls expenditures to avoid duplicate, non-profitable activities.
