GS1 Poland invites you to training sessions

In 2007, we are offering a series of training sessions on GS1 system issues.
Our offer includes open and closed stationary training sessions as well as online training developed by GS1 in Brussels. Open training sessions cover the following topics:
• Introduction to GS1 System standards
• European logistics label in open supply chains
• EDI – Electronic Data Interchange and e-invoicing
• „Traceability” – how to meet EU requirements regarding food product tracking
• Technical aspects of barcodes.
Taking into account the changing market and thus the changing needs of entrepreneurs, we have improved both the topics of the training sessions and their format this year.

As part of the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) training, issues regarding electronic invoicing have been introduced. Currently, most retail chains and companies cooperating with them use EDI, which is why, as part of the priority work of ECR Poland in 2006, message specifications were developed that create an additional opportunity to send electronic invoices in accordance with the requirements of the e-invoice regulation and tax law. An electronic invoice means additional cost and time savings for companies and ensures the accuracy of transmitted data in a completely electronic form. The training on the logistics label has also been modified to include the latest GS1 guidelines defining the principles for creating a European harmonized logistics label. The above document is the result of regional cooperation within „GS1 in Europe” and has been accepted by the largest European retail chains and supplier groups. This training is therefore essential for all suppliers trading with chains on the European market. Research by training companies shows that the most effective way to acquire knowledge is to combine stationary training with online training. Online training provides a good theoretical foundation, while stationary training allows for practical verification and improvement of previously acquired knowledge.

For those of you interested in a combined version of the training, we offer an advantageous package of the above combined training forms. Additionally, successfully completing the online training provides the opportunity to obtain an international GS1 certificate issued by the GS1 headquarters in Brussels and recognized worldwide.
The online training includes 7 modules:
• Basic concepts
• Supermarket
• Distribution center
• Manufacturer
• Warehouse
• Supply chain management
• Printing house.

We encourage everyone to deepen their knowledge and invite you to our training sessions. Detailed information about the training sessions, along with current dates, can be found on our website http://www.gs1pl.org/.
