The Polish logistics group CTL Logistics has become a laureate of the Quality Promotion Program in Polish Enterprises – Quality of the Year 2006 in the “innovation” category. The company, which owns the largest private freight railway in Poland, was recognized for continuously raising the quality standards of its services.
The Quality of the Year 2006 award is another distinction granted to CTL Logistics in recognition of the highest quality of services offered by the company and its innovative approach in the industry. The group is a quality leader both in Poland and in Europe. As the only European company, it can boast, among other things, 7 SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment) certificates. SQAS are awarded to companies operating in the chemical industry and are considered the highest possible distinction.
– We are extremely pleased that the Chapter of another program evaluating quality has appreciated our company and the fact that at CTL Logistics we have always focused on a high standard of services offered. The Quality of the Year 2006 award confirms that the work we put into the continuous improvement of our operations is appreciated by others – says Jarosław Pawluk, President of CTL Logistics.
Quality of the Year 2006 is a program for promoting quality in Polish enterprises implemented by the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification and the editorial staff of Biznes Raport in Gazeta Prawna. The main goal of the program is to popularize pro-quality thinking in Polish companies. The basic criterion for selecting laureates is the company’s approach to quality management issues. The award committee evaluates enterprises in three categories: product, service, innovation in the areas of: quality policy, vision and strategy for its development, implemented management systems, activities for customer satisfaction, and cooperation with the environment.
