Panattoni Poland has purchased a plot of land for the construction of a new warehouse park in Łódź. In December of last year, the company signed an agreement to purchase 11 hectares of land located on Zakładowa Street, next to the Dell factory. Construction is scheduled to be completed as early as the third quarter of 2007.
The project consists of a complex of class A warehouses with a total area of over 50,000 sqm. The plot where the park will be built is located right next to the A1 motorway leading from Gdańsk to Cieszyn, near its intersection with the A2 motorway connecting the eastern and western parts of Europe. At the same time, it is located near the center of Łódź, which ensures public transport access (a public transport stop and a railway station are located next to the plot). This strategic location provides an ideal solution for domestic and international transport.
The location of the park in one of the most populous cities in Poland ensures easy access to a pool of highly qualified staff. The investment was made possible through the cooperation of the Investor Service Department of the Łódź City Hall.
