After over four years of operations in the Łódź area, the management of Rohlig Poland has decided to further expand its logistics presence in the region by launching its own 1,700 sqm operational terminal.
The decision was driven by the company’s growth in the region and the resulting need to handle an increased flow of cargo while maintaining a highly attractive offer. An additional factor was the establishment of a partnership with one of the leading freight forwarding companies in Turkey – Hilal Trans – and the growth in cargo volume on this route. The terminal area also houses a Customs Warehouse and a newly opened Customs Agency.
– The launch of the Customs Agency has met with enormous interest from our existing clients, for whom we also provide sea and air freight organization services. Other companies interested specifically in the Agency’s services are also reaching out to us – says Tomasz Pyka – Branch Manager. – I am deeply convinced that the expanded offer of the Łódź branch of Rohlig Poland will increase our flexibility towards clients and enable truly comprehensive service for many of them. The year 2007 should already show how much the Łódź forwarding market needed this investment.

The investment in the terminal, which serves as a central point between the terminals in Poznań, Katowice, and Piaseczno, is another step by Rohlig Poland towards creating the company’s network connection system in Poland.
