Every properly organized logistics supply chain cannot function without pallets and the associated palletization. This means the widespread use of load pallets in the movement and storage of goods. Palletized load units formed from goods enable extensive mechanization of loading operations related to transport between individual links in the supply chain.
This issue becomes significantly more complicated when moving unusual loads that require special protection, and even more so when they are hazardous. The problems that arise can only be solved by using specialized load pallets, i.e., auxiliary devices with a design and dimensions adapted to the properties of the stored assortment, transport and storage conditions, and enabling stacking.
There are a number of companies on the Polish market involved in the design and production of this type of pallet, especially since there is a visible increase in demand for them. Constant development of competitiveness means that the devices offered should:
• ensure optimal functionality (maximum capacity utilization, filling and emptying time)
• reduce handling and transport costs
• have a structure that guarantees protection for the goods for which they are intended
• ensure long-term usability through quality, while maintaining work safety.
