The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing has been honored by the Poznań International Fair with a special award for long-term cooperation, dating back to 1976 and the beginnings of the TAROPAK fair. The ceremony took place on September 18th of this year at the MTP Congress Center during a gala held on the first day of the jubilee 25th edition of the International Packaging and Logistics Technology Salon TAROPAK 2006. While presenting the award to the Director of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, Dr. Eng. Grzegorz Szyszka, MTP President Bogusław Zalewski recalled, among other things, that when creating the TAROPAK fair in 1976, the MTP management invited the then Central Center for Warehouse Management (currently the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing) to cooperate, with whom the seminar and conference program of these fairs has been jointly created ever since.
