At the turn of September and October, another book by Jerzy Majewski will hit the publishing market, the author of “IT for Logistics,” which was very well received not only in the logistics community. The new publication is “IT in the Warehouse.” As the title itself suggests, readers will find a continuation and expansion of the topics covered in the previous work by this well-known expert in the field of information systems supporting enterprise management. Many studies have been written about warehousing, but they have characterized it from a technical and organizational perspective. The content contained in Majewski’s book provides a significant supplement to the issues of warehousing processes, but this time viewed from an IT perspective. Systematizing the principles of warehousing from an IT perspective is a new quality for the field to which the announced work is dedicated.
