The Poznań School of Logistics, together with its European partners, is working on innovative e-learning courses. The WSL will introduce these cutting-edge trends in global logistics education as early as next year.
The goal of the NEDLOG project – Modern Education for Logistics – is to use internet technology to develop a common European system of logistics education. The final product will be a set of courses developed in e-learning technology, which will make it possible to study logistics at a European level via the World Wide Web as well.
Holding a leading position in the field of logistics education comes with obligations – says Wojciech Zalewski, press spokesperson for the Poznań School of Logistics – which is why we are constantly looking for new development opportunities. By moving theory to the Internet and reducing the burden of stationary learning, we open up the possibility of more practical preparation for market needs. Parallel to the project, an intensive program for finding internships will be implemented so that the e-learning course participant can try their hand in practice.
An important task set by the partners is to develop means to facilitate access to knowledge for people with disabilities as well, in order to make them competitive in the labor market. Logistics does not limit the employment of such people, provided they are properly prepared and their disability allows them to operate a computer.
NEDLOG is created by leading logistics education centers in Europe: the Poznań School of Logistics, 21 LearnLine from Freiburg, TFH Wildau from Berlin, the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing from Poznań, the College of Logistics in Přerov, Budapest Tech, the European Telecoaching Institute from Freiburg, and the company Kuehne + Nagel.
The project is divided into 5 phases. After developing the final shape, 16 modules were built, which are being created by individual partners. These are:
