5th International Forum for Logistics, Transport and Communication for Eastern Europe LOGTRANS 2006

Trade with Eastern European countries is constantly gaining in importance. For companies involved in logistics and transport, this means new opportunities, but also challenges. Anyone who wants to successfully operate in new markets needs good contacts, reliable business partners, and sufficient knowledge regarding the economic and legal framework for East-West communication.

This idea guided the organizers in preparing this year’s 5th edition of the LOGTRANS Forum. The event is primarily addressed to representatives of the transport industry in Germany, Poland, Belarus, and Russia, for whom cross-border traffic is an impulse for development, and whose goal for the future is to improve communication and the efficient flow of goods along these routes. Over the course of three days, we invite you to symposia, workshops, and networking exchanges, during which participants will be able to seek advice from specialists or exchange experiences with representatives from their industry.

The program includes, among other topics: “Future development strategies for Corridor II – East-West Axis”, or “Opportunities for logistics in traffic between Eastern and Western Europe”; those interested will take part in the International Networking Exchange initiated by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Frankfurt (Oder) or in the East Brandenburg Transport Talks. The full program of the LOGTRANS 2006 Forum is available for viewing on the website: www.messe-logtrans.de

The LOGTRANS 2006 Forum has been held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economic Affairs of the State of Brandenburg, Mr. Ulrich Junghanns.
